Set 7 - Joe

This series of photos is taken in the same house as the previous set but I attempted to use different locations and gather more items. Again this shows that It has been easier to take pictures of boys than it has been of girls. The model was initially awkward but eventually became quite comfortable before suggesting their own ideas for poses and props in order to make the resulting images more interesting.

Most successful image
The didgeridoo in this photo was actually a prop chosen by the subject who is very musically inclined. I feel that it is well composed and the way the didgeridoo is pointing almost draws you in to the image. I also think that the colours in the carpet and in his shirt are fairly vivid making the overall picture fairly interesting.

Least successful image
Overall I don't think that this image is too bad in terms of composition however the focus is slightly out and most importantly it has a very strong yellow overtone. I can't recall the settings on the camera but a handful of the images taken share this and it would be fairly hard to edit out well.

More of these images can be seen in a small booklet and the rest will be contained on a memory stick upon hand in.
